Having been with Lone Star Safety and Security Services for more than 10 years, David Blair brings more than three decades of security and safety experience to the company.  Before Lone Star, Dave spent much of his career as Director of Security and Safety for two major Hotel and Resort corporations.  Responsible for implementing a new and complete department, his duties included compliance and training in the areas of fire safety, EPA agreements and the EEOC as well as conducting all internal investigations involving criminal activity and suspicious behavior.  

As Director of Security and Special Deputy Sheriff at Rancho Mission Viejo in California, Dave is credited with developing the Victim Offender Rehabilitation program designed to reduce the number of offenders going through the court system by using a straightforward form of intervention.  As a Special Deputy he arrested and prosecuted individuals for various crimes throughout his jurisdiction of over 35,000 acres.

Dave Blair is certified at all levels of Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration compliance, as well being educated in and having experienced with EPA, EEOC and ADA requirements.  Dave is a member of the National Fire Protection Agency and the Mountain State Employment Council as well as a consultant for the Rocky Mountain Tactical Center.

Dave works for Lone Star as a Contract Leader supervising the safety and security of Eagle River Village and Colorado Mountain College in addition to working various assignments throughout the organization.

One additional area of Dave’s expertise that Lone Star utilizes is his training and extraordinary ability as a private investigator.  Heading up Lone Star’s investigation team, Dave has been instrumental in assisting both private and public entities in the quest for relevant information
