 | Cordillera Valley Club, a private community, had a desire to keep their neighborhoods safer and more secure. The Club hired Lone Star Security for general, overall security services. This included maintaining gate access, safety patrol, and answering emergency calls for medical, fire, safety, and intrusion. |
Lone Star Security’s service, while always visible, came into the spotlight one evening. A resident, who was unaware of a serious allergy to pine nuts, called 911 after ingesting food with pine nuts. Lone Star Security was the first on the scene. They gained access to the house, found the gentleman unconscious but alive, and stayed with him until emergency services arrived. Without Lone Star Security on duty, emergency services would have taken up to 15 minutes longer to arrive at the scene, since they did not have the ease of access to the property that Lone Star Security could provide. The gentleman is still alive.
In another case, a Lone Star Security gatehouse officer saw a tree catch fire during a lightning storm. The officer contacted Rick Adams, the officer in charge that evening, and emergency medical services. Lone Star Security officers were able to contain the fire with extinguishers and shovels until emergency services arrived on the scene.
These cases demonstrate that Lone Star Security is more than just a security service. They are true first responders.
