Once the decision to stand and fight is made, being able to move and shoot becomes crucial to coming out on top. Lone Star Security’s Advanced Tactical Pistol course is a dynamic and active course that instills a better ability to see the options available to you; from the selection of cover, to increasing your chances of getting there and surviving the encounter.
Students should be prepared with their combat pistol of choice, no less than three magazines, a proper holster, 400 rounds of reliable ammunition, and be prepared for a fast paced course of fire.

Weapon Defense and Disarms |
This is a one day (8 hour) course designed to illustrate the problems, issues and techniques associated with retaining a weapon against attempts by another party to take control of one's weapon and, conversely, to illustrate methods of disarming an assailants using firearms, edged weapons and blunt weapons.
